The Annual General Body Meeting of Managers and Principals

The Annual General Body Meeting of Managers and Principals of all the school working in the Diocese of Bhadravathi convened on 2 nd March 2024, at the Bodhana Pastoral Centre. Mar Joseph Arumachadath, the Bishop of Bhadravathi, chaired the meeting. Fr.Sajeesh Thrikkodanmalil, the education secretary of the diocese, extended the words of welcome. Rev. Fr. Francis Almeda, the Regional Secretary for the Commission for Education, facilitated the session, which saw the active participation of 46 representatives from educational institutions across the diocese. The meeting served as a platform for extensive discussions and strategic planning aimed at advancing the quality of education and fostering holistic development within all the school working in the Diocese of Bhadravathi.

Key agenda items included addressing the challenges faced in the field of education, reviewing recent government policies, discussing the initiatives of the regional commission to tackle various challenges, planning for staff training and development, and exploring collaborative opportunities among educational institutions. In his concluding speech, Bishop Mar Joseph emphasized the importance of forming a diocesan committee to act as a supportive system for our educational institutions, while Fr. Francis assured his ongoing assistance and support. The meeting concluded at 1pm with a vote of thanks delivered by Sr. Usha CMC.
